The “Panda’s” timeless color block is a nod to the Dunk’s college basketball-inspired “Be True to Your School” collection from 1985 that saw Nike honor some of the country’s top college basketball teams. Each Dunk in the “Be True to Your School” pack appeared in a two-tone color block, like the “Panda.” Black tumbled leather appears on the model’s forefoot, eyelets, collar, heel, and Swoosh. Nike outfits the perforated toe, mid-panel, and collar in white leather to create a look that mimics the black and white coat of a panda bear.
